• Sorbalgon polysorbate is made of calcium alginate fibers and forming a non-adherent hydrophilic gel provided with the sodium salt which is in the blood and wound exudate. The gel forming property of promoting wound healing process.
• The gel with hemostatic properties for bleeding wounds fills the wound cavity and creates favorable conditions for healing, removing bacteria from the wound and keeping them within the gel. Due to the physical and chemical properties pad has a high absorption capacity which is very important for the treatment of moderate to high exuding wounds. Adapts very well to contours and even some forms of difficult wounds. Under surveillance can remain in the wound a few days and should be changed when it is completely transformed into gel.
