• Askina SilNet minimizes traumas associated with the exchange of dressings, its composition has moldable nonwoven fabric material, coated with soft silicone at its edges.
• The non-adherent product protects the fragile granulation tissue, the structure of the Askina Silnet is soft and easy to mold, it is compatible with topical treatments, it allows the exudate to pass through the dressing and it also has hypoallergenic material.
• Its use is indicated for cuts and abrasions, lacerations, traumatic wounds, 1st and 2nd degree burns, fixation of skin grafts, donor sites, surgical wounds, lacerations.
• It should not be used in the treatment of ulcers resulting from infection, such as tuberculosis, syphilis, fungal or deep infections, or in third degree burns.
• If signs of infection (temperature, edema, redness) appear or the wound deteriorates unexpectedly, seek appropriate medical help.
• Do not use excessive pressure on Askina SilNet when used in mesh grafts.
• It should not be changed for 5 days after fixation of the skin graft.
• Do not use if the package is damaged or opened.
